Leavenworth KS Married 3
After graduation I headed to College Of St. Teresa in Winona, Minnesota.  Graduated in 1970 with a teaching degree in English.  I moved to Goshen, NY to teach High School English for a year until Guy Berry graduated from The United States Military Academy in 1971.  We married that day after graduation on June 10 and began a 28 year tour of living in 14 different places in the United States and Germany.
Our three children, Guy III, Christine and William were born along the way.  Guy III lives in Vilseck, Germany, Christine and her husband Lee (military) and family live near Fort Bragg, North Carolina and Bill lives in San Antonio, Texas.  We have 3 grandchildren who live in New Jersey and 7 who live in North Carolina.
Guy retired in 1998 in Virginia but the East Coast was not for us, so we landed in the Midwest in Leavenworth, Kansas.  I was a stay at home mom who worked part time teaching or substitute teaching jobs along the way.  I also did a great deal of volunteering in children’s activities and in the units to which we were assigned.
Interestingly, I found my father’s family when we were stationed in West Germany, and they lived in East Germany.  Once the wall came down, we were able to visit them in 1993 and have continued to keep in touch over the years.  Some of them have visited us in the states.
I am looking forward to the reunion.

I think the 60's was a great time to grow up. We lived in a time of great inventions, protests, and improved living conditions. I graduated from the U of M to become a pharmacist. Retired in 2010 and am enjoying free time, grandkids, wood working and travel.

Tallahassee FL Executive Married 3
It has been quite a ride. After a thoroughly undistinguished academic career, I left Hopkins for Iowa City. Found my stride at the University of Iowa, graduated with Honors, and received a very generous fellowship to pursue graduate studies at Tulane University in New Orleans. Temporarily suspended studies to work in DC at the Atomic Energy Commission (73 - 78). Had a front row seat during a remarkable period in our history.

I returned to New Orleans in 1978, finished my doctorate in 1980, and went to work in the oil fields of Louisiana and Texas, managing the contractual relationships for the US Strategic Petroleum Reserve project. In 1982 joined a small company in Miami, and over the next 22 years was part of a senior management team that successfully built a NYSE listed enterprise, with over 200 domestic offices and 57 overseas operations. Traveled across the country and around the world, dragging my golf clubs with me whenever possible.

Started a subsidiary venture in 1995, after moving the firm to Palm Beach. I subsequently took that company private in 2002, after surpassing the billion-dollar mark in roughly five years. Sold the publically traded company in 2002 and the private venture in 2004. Tried retiring but to no avail.

I remained active in the community, chairing our Business Development Board, the Economic Council of Palm Beach, serving on Boards for Juvenile Diabetes, the Orange Bowl Committee, the Palm Beach Film Festival, a number of Chambers and our local hospital. I was an adjunct professor in the Rinker School of Business at Palm Beach Atlantic University for 3 years. In 2004 ran a sales tax campaign, as a Republican no less, that was successful in raising sufficient funds to rebuild or renovate virtually every public school in Palm Beach County. Along the way I was recognized as one of the top power brokers in Florida, shared the stage with Don Shula as a Legend of South Florida, and received the Excalibur Award from the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel as the top business executive for 2004.

Left retirement and Palm Beach in 2011 when I was asked to manage the financial services and processes for the state of Florida. Tallahassee is now our permanent home.

Was charmed by a New Orleans lady, and 35 years later remain completely smitten. Have three lovely and successful daughters, all born, bred and educated southerners (Virginia Tech, Southern Miss, and Auburn), and have been blessed with five grandchildren. Currently evaluating another possible start-up or continued public service; have no intention of retiring. We are making our best efforts to be there in September, and look forward to the chance to reconnect after 50 years.
