Auburn AL University Professor and Department Head Widowed 3
I'm so sorry I missed adding to the class notes before the reunion.  I just returned from working at universities in Africa and didn't get my act togehter to do this soon enough.
Our family has lived in Auburn, Alabama for 38 years.  Both my wonderful husband Paul and I went to college and graduate school in the Chicago area.  Eventually we moved to the sunny warm south close to mountains and the Gulf of Mexico.  It has been a wonderful life!  We have three terrific, beautiful daughters and seven even more beautiful grands including two sets of twins from two of the daughters!  That was a surprise!!
I have been the dean of libraries at Auburn University and I now am a professor and department head for the graduate education programs in the College of Education at Auburn.  WAR EAGLE!!!  Retirement is still not in my near future.  I'm having too much fun! My husband died 4 years ago but I have kept busy traveling the world and working with international universities developing collaborative programs and research for our students and faculty.
I wish I could have been there to see everyone, but I didn't return to the US in time.  If you are ever in Auburn Alabama, or even close, give me a call ! I am 115 miles west of the Atlanta airport and I would love to hear from you.

Hastings MN artist Married 2
What have I done in the last fifty years?  Well, I married my high school boyfriend, went to art school and became a landscape painter.  I show my work at Groveland Gallery in Minneapolis.  My husband is still my boyfriend and we have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.  They all live in London, which we visit as much as possible.

I hope to see some familiar faces at the Legion Hall on Friday.

Wish I could attend but I have a fishing tournament that weekend I am in charge of.
I went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, then worked a short time for Snyder Drugs. Went from there into Pharmaceutical Sales, which back then did not have such a bad name. Thirty three years later I was downsized, and choose to spend the rest of my career doing something positive. Since then I have worked on Great Lakes related Conservation issues. Everything from the creation of nature preserves to serving as an advisor and officer to Federal, and State offices, as well as local groups on Great Lakes related issues, particularly in regards to the fisheries. I have been married for 32 years to my wonderful wife Therese, and we are blessed with a son Ryan who is just finishing his busness degree at UMD. We live in Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Superior, and love it. It is where we belong. We travel a lot. I fish, hunt, and drive my Corvette for fun. Took me 47 years from high school, but I finally got one! Enjoy the reunion everyone, I wish I could make it.

Never once did I think I would have a "career."   But, 44 years later and still enjoying taking care of patients...!  Have spent the last 29 years at NY Columbia Presbyterian ED, with the last 7 in their Psychiatric ED.   Working 12 1/2 hr night shifts and great benefits has allowed me to enjoy extensive traveling all over the world!   My other great love has been photography.   And, movies!   I am blessed with a wonderful daughter and 2 awesome grandsons,  who bring me great joy!    I'm glad I grew up in "the 60's" generation.
I have maintained close ties to friends and family in MN.

Hi Everyone....!

I've retired and we live in Florida.  We have 5 children between us and 11 grandchildren.  I've uploaded a picture of us with the grandchildren (minus our oldest who's a teenager).

I had lunch with Kathy Casmer a few days ago.  It's always fun to catch up.

Hugs,

Fifty years is a long time--it doesn't seem real.  Time sure does go fast.  I moved away from MN in 1994 after gradually working toward a Bachelor's Degree from St. Cloud.  I met my soulmate, Dean Brown, in Reno in 1998.  We were married in 2000 and eventually moved to TX for his health.  Even that didn't work and he succumbed to heart disease in 2013.  Right now, I am back in Reno where we met and will figure out the rest of my life, with God's help.
I am hoping to see many of you at the reunion.  I am looking forward to this time.

Minneapolis MN Married 2
After some fits and starts I went back to school following a nine-year break between my sophomore and junior years. I graduated from Metro State University in 1980. As a result of an intership I was hired at the Pharm House Treatement Center in Mpls before I graduated. I worked there for two years and then decided I would rather work in prevention spending the next several years in the Edina Schools and for the City of Edina.

I retired after working the last 19 years at the Minnesota Department of Health.

We have two children, one living in New York City and the other in Denver. Both great places to visit.

In retirement I have found some great volunteer opportunities doing things I enjoy.
