Eden Prairie MN Retired Divorced 3
I am retired and spend time in Naples, Florida where I am a snow bird during the fall and winter. Otherwise, home is in Eden Prairie where I have been for 10 years after raising a family in Minnetonka. My three adult children, two daughters and a son, live nearby and are all gainfully employed.  Two grandsons, ages 10 and 14, are wonderful, too!

I attended Macalester College for two years after high school and then transferred to Gustavus where I majored in business education. Gustavus was a much better place for me. Twenty-five years later, I earned an MPA in public administration at Hamline University.

My various careers, from typing teacher to school board chair, were all education related including non-profit executive director, large-scale testing firm project manager and Vice President of education at Jr. Achievement of the Upper Midwest. However, my last "retirement" job was directing the GED testing program for several west metro school districts.  Being employed by Hopkins Public Schools, my office was in the old high school on second floor, right across from the former art rooms.  So, my career came full circle, and I loved working there among so many fond memories!

We all wonder how it can be 50 years since we were high school seniors.  Lots has happened since then, but take a minute to remember what you were doing so long, long ago. Our 50th reunion in September 2016 will be an opportunity to reconnect and to reminisce with classmates who share this common history.  I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Shakopee MN Retired Married 4
God has been good to me!
After graduating from Minnesota School of Business in 1968 I married into a family –Rollin, now my best friend and husband – was the proud father of two kids ages 4 and 6.  I was now an  instant mom!    We then added two more kids to our family.  We were now a family of 6  -- three boys and one girl.  Those wonderful children have presented us with 10 grandchildren – ages 7 to 27!

Before retirement I worked as an administrative assistant in a variety of settings ranging from a hospital to a group home.  The latest  position provided the greatest blessings – St. Andrew Early Childhood where I worked closely with the children and their parents.

I have spent the last six years in retirement during which I have battled multiple sclerosis and cancer.  During these past years I have been active in my church and in two Red Hat groups.

Oak Grove (Anoka) MN Bookkeeper Single 1
My son, James, had his 30th high school reunion this summer...and he has more gray hair than I do. How did he get to be older than I am? He's a terrific son, and I am so grateful that he and my brothers live mostly in the metro area.
I still do bookkeeping a few hours a week.  Hit garage sales every Thursday with my neighbor in spring and summer, craft sales in fall, antique shops in winter.  Always have many projects in the works (and even finish a few).  I was born for shabby chic!
I do sometimes think about moving to a place with no yard work or snow shoveling.  But every square foot of this house and yard holds memories of my son, Brandon, who died of cancer in 1993 at age 22.  Plus, I have so much stuff ! The prospect of leaving the house I've been in for 43+ years is daunting.
Humor, health and happiness to all.

Wow - 50 years. I liked how we looked at the 20 year reunion better. This fall I will have been married 46 years to my college sweatheart! We have one daughter, Michelle, who is in medical research on elderly people. We are hoping she finds the magic bullet soon! She lives in Oregon with her husband Mike and teaches at Oregon State University. Marcy and I have been in the Chicago area 21 years and enjoy the area very much. My consulant work is in business development and strategic planning. I have been working in Native American Gaming for the last 12 years and have learned a lot about American History we don't teach in school. We love to travel and are heading to France this fall for a month. First time being away that long. Hopefully this will be a trend! Send Steve a MessageSend Steve a Message

Peoria AZ Retired Married 3
As the old saying goes, "You can take the girl out of the sixties, but you can never take the sixties out of the girl."  (I'm the hippie on the left in the photo).  Where did the past 50 years go?!*  Mine have
been spent as a college student (graduated from the Uof M in '70), an elementary teacher, (kindergarten and reading/math coordinator) a church administrator, a wife (47 years to the same amazing husband), a mother (42 year old twin sons and a 37 year old daughter),  a grandmother (5 grandchildren), volunteer and a wonabee thespian (acting and dancing in AZ community theater).  Life has been a roller coaster ride and I'm thankful for every minute of it!
